The second film in the celebrated Alien Quadrilogy, James Cameron’s Aliens follows Ellen Ripley (Weaver) after her rescue from the space freighter Nostromo. Her testimony is met with extreme skepticism and the revocation of her space-flight license, but after the Weyland-Yutani Corporation loses contact with a colony on LV-426, the planet on which she and her crew first encountered the hostile Alien creature, she is asked to join their investigation as a consultant. Nominated for seven Academy Awards®, this film is a classic of the science fiction genre.
