Filmmaker Susan Koch teamed up with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas to investigate the 3% of Washington, D.C. residents living with HIV or AIDS. This consciousness-raising documentary offers a previously unseen look into the lives of those who have remained invisible to lawmakers and lobbyists, as well as to the national media. Neglected, marginalized, and without government assistance, these citizens of a second D.C. are now taking their fate into their own hands to live with dignity.
