Red

It’s 1958. Legendary abstract expressionist Mark Rothko is at the height of his fame and has just accepted the biggest commission in the history of modern art—giant murals for the new Four Seasons. Through the course of two years of positing and posturing, a new assistant challenges him to examine the difference between selling and selling out. Rothko is forced to decide whether his crowning achievement will also be his undoing in this fascinating window into the artistic mind, heart, and ego. Winner of the 2010 Tony Award for Best Play, this production contains adult language.

Please note that Red is intended for mature audiences.
