Old Cabell Hall
Family Holiday Concert
Michael Slon, conductor
with the UVA University singers
This concert is sponsored in part by UVA Arts.
Through the years, these concerts have become an eagerly awaited holiday tradition. This year’s program is brimming with festive favorites for concertgoers young and old, such as: “Carol of the Bells”, Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride”, “Et in terra pax” from Vivaldi’s Gloria, John Williams’s Song for World Peace, “Twelve Days of Christmas” with merry audience participation and “Hallelujah” from Handel’s Messiah.
The Symphony does not recommend concerts for children under the age of 6. Babies in arms are not permitted into the concert hall. All children must have their own purchased tickets and must be seated with an adult.
Tickets for this event are currently unavailable.
