The Virginia Chamber Music Foundation announces the 20th Season of the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival. Beginning Sunday, September 8th and ending Wednesday, September 18, the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival will continue its tradition of presenting a wide variety of chamber music styles and instrumentations performed by world-renowned musicians.

About the Festival:
Founded in 2000 by Charlottesville natives Raphael Bell (cello) and Timothy Summers (violin and viola), the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival, September 8-18, 2019, invites world-class, professional musicians who give fresh reads on traditional classical works, as well as contemporary chamber works. The diversity of programming, musicians, and variety of instrumentation sets this Festival apart in Central Virginia, and provides a unique opportunity for chamber music lovers throughout the region.
